Salsa Workshops with Johan & Alyssa

Rhythm House ATX welcomes guest instructors Johan & Alyssa on Sunday, September 13, 2026 for a two-part workshop afternoon designed to add technique, movement quality, and cultural depth to dancers’ training.

The day begins with Salsa On2 Shines from 1:00–2:00 PM, focusing on footwork, timing, musicality, styling, and building confidence in solo dancing. From 2:00–3:00 PM, Afro-Cuban Movement digs into body mechanics, rhythm, and foundational movement that connects back to the roots that influence Salsa.

Dancers can drop into a single workshop for $30 or take both for $50. It’s a great fit for anyone looking to sharpen their solo work, explore movement fundamentals, and leave with new tools to bring more flavor and intention to the dance floor.
