Las Guaracheras bring the vibrant sounds of Cali, Colombia to Candela Detroit for a live salsa and Latin jazz concert featuring special guest Pedro El Bravo.

Designed with dancers in mind, the evening combines high-energy live music with a lively dance-floor atmosphere in the heart of Southwest Detroit’s Mexicantown. Las Guaracheras are known for a percussion-driven sound that blends traditional salsa, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, Latin jazz, and Colombian musical influences.

The concert takes place on Friday, October 9, 2026, with music and dancing running from 8:00 PM until midnight. Expect a full-band performance, powerful vocals, and plenty of rhythm for salsa dancers looking to enjoy live music rather than a typical DJ-led social.

Admission is $25.

Candela Detroit is a live entertainment venue near the corner of W. Vernor Highway and 25th Street. Parking is available across from the venue at the former St. Anthony Church, with additional street parking nearby and extra parking behind the adjacent building.

Guests should also be aware of the venue’s bag policy: purses and bags larger than 4 x 6 x 1.5 inches are not permitted.
