Baila Bachata Mondays at The Adelphi

About this event

Baila Bachata Mondays brings weekly bachata classes and social dancing to The Adelphi in Leeds, with four levels of instruction for beginners through more experienced dancers.

Classes are taught by Ehab, Tudor, and Eirini, covering everything from basic steps, timing, and partner connection to Sensual Bachata technique, body isolations, and refined leading and following.

The evening begins at 7:00 PM with a free beginner taster class until 7:30 PM. Level 1 and Level 2 classes follow from 7:30 PM to 8:15 PM, with Level 3 and Level 1+ running from 8:15 PM to 9:00 PM.

From 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the floor opens for social dancing with DJ Ehab, giving participants time to practice and enjoy bachata after the lessons.

No partner or advance booking is required, and partners rotate during classes.

Admission is £7 for one class and the social, or £5 with valid NUS identification. Two classes and the social cost £10, or £8 with valid NUS identification. Social-only entry is £3, with cash and card payments accepted at the door.

The event takes place every Monday at The Adelphi in Leeds. Nearby parking is available on Hunslet Lane, Concordia Street, and Waterloo Street, all within walking distance.
