Salsa and Bachata Classes at The Ballroom of Reno

The Ballroom of Reno offers weekly salsa and bachata classes for beginners and dancers looking to develop their skills, with separate Beginner and Beyond Basics levels.

Monday evenings focus on salsa with instructor Irene Robles. Beginner Salsa runs from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by Beyond Basics Salsa from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Tuesday evenings feature bachata, with Ashley Atwood and Russell Heusser teaching Beginner Bachata from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Ashley then leads Beyond Basics Bachata from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

An additional Basics and Beyond Salsa On2 class with Irene and Russell takes place on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Beginner classes are free, with a $5 donation appreciated. No previous dance experience or partner is required. Partners rotate during classes, although couples may choose to stay together.

Beyond Basics group classes cost $10 each.

Participants should arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow time for parking and front-desk check-in. Comfortable clothing and shoes are suitable, with no special dance attire required.

Online registration through Mindbody is encouraged, and walk-ins are welcome.
