Just getting started in dancing? The Intro to Social Dance class at Santa Fe Community College is designed for beginning dancers with little or no experience.
Each weekly drop-in session introduces the basics of leading, following, timing, and movement through a rotating set of popular social dances like salsa, swing, country-western, and tango. No partner is needed, and classes are structured to welcome absolute beginners while also offering practice and repetition for those with a bit of experience.
Cost is $15 per person per class, payable online or at the door.
There’s no long-term commitment—just drop in when you can and start dancing!
