Salsa and Rueda Lessons at Dance Station

Marie Maez Salsa offers weekly Salsa and Rueda lessons at Dance Station, with separate Level 1 and Level 2 classes designed to help dancers feel more confident and comfortable on the social dance floor.

Level 2 meets on Saturdays at 12:00 PM, followed by Level 1 at 1:00 PM. The classes explore partner-dance technique, salsa fundamentals, musicality and practical ways to build combinations that are easier to remember and use while social dancing.

Students also work on understanding how basic movements connect to more complex patterns, with an emphasis on creativity, self-expression and dancing comfortably with partners of different experience levels. Rueda de Casino is incorporated alongside salsa partner work.

Classes are organized into 5-week sessions, with upcoming sessions beginning August 15, September 19, October 24 and November 28, 2026. Drop-in students are welcome even after a session has already begun.

Five-week registration is offered on a sliding scale of $75–$125. A single drop-in lesson is offered on a sliding scale of $20–$30.

Dance Station features sprung wood floors, mirrors, air conditioning and plenty of free parking. The studio is located in the west corner of Solana Shopping Center.
