Salsa Latina Dance Academy in Christchurch offers an 8-week Salsa 101 course designed for adult beginners. The classes cover both partner-work and shines (footwork) fundamentals in a social environment. New students can try their first class for free in the first week.
Classes are taught by internationally recognized instructors Reuben and Robyn. Each session lasts one hour and encourages students to rotate partners, helping build confidence and social connection. The course is suitable for total beginners or dancers looking to revisit foundational techniques. Pay-as-you-go and concession options are available.
Two start dates are offered: Tuesdays from June 24, 2025, and Thursdays from July 24, 2025. Classes run for 8 weeks.
