Salsa Night Fever is a lively fortnightly Latin dance social held at Engineers Bar in Christchurch.
Open to dancers and non-dancers of all levels, it offers a safe and welcoming environment with open French doors and a private wooden dance floor in the courtyard.
The night features a mix of salsa, bachata, cha-cha, merengue, and kizomba, with DJs Javier and Reuben curating the music. Entry is free, but attendees are encouraged to purchase drinks to support the venue and keep the event running.
The party runs from early evening into the late night, creating a vibrant space to practice, socialize, and enjoy Latin rhythms. Held every two weeks, it’s an opportunity to connect with the local Latin dance community and sharpen partner dancing skills.
