Yemaya Salsa Dance Company 25th Anniversary

Yemaya Salsa Dance Company celebrates its 25th Anniversary with a full day of dance, music, and community at Sacramento State’s University Union Ballroom. The celebration kicks off with workshops from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM, covering bachata, salsa footwork, cha-cha-cha boogaloo, and kizomba. In the afternoon, enjoy a bachata social from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM with DJs Ron and Kriskros.

The evening program begins with a showcase featuring Yemaya Dance Company and special guests from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a high-energy salsa social from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Live music will be provided by SABOR, with DJs EldelaClaveSF and DJ Boriqua spinning before and after the band.

Multiple ticket options are available:
• $75 full event pass ($38 with student ID)
• $40 workshops only (10:00 AM–2:30 PM)
• $15 bachata social only (3:00 PM–5:00 PM)
• $20 showcase only (6:00 PM–7:00 PM)
• $40 evening show & social (6:00 PM–11:00 PM)
• $25 salsa social only (7:00 PM–11:00 PM)
