Queer Salsa Social: ¡Qué Dulce Ritmo!

Queer Latin Dance SD brings back Queer Salsa Social: ¡Qué Dulce Ritmo! on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM at Studio K in San Diego.

The evening begins with a Salsa musicality workshop led by a visiting instructor from LA, exploring clave patterns and how to hear and interpret them in Salsa songs. After the class, the night opens up into a beginner-friendly Salsa & Bachata social, with a DJ and plenty of time to practice what was just learned on the dance floor.

This is a queer-friendly community event organized by Queer Latin Dance SD, and first-time attendees are asked to read the group’s Code of Conduct. Guests are invited to come as they are, with Latin dance shoes recommended. Refreshments and treats will be provided, and attendees are welcome (but not required) to bring snacks to share.

Pricing is $20 early bird through April 5, then $25 general admission; all sales are final.
