Southside Sundays is Austin’s premier weekly Latin dance social, offering an inviting atmosphere for dancers of all levels.
Held every Sunday at the stylish Aloft Austin Southwest, the event begins with two concurrent Salsa On2 classes from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM—one for beginners led by a certified Lux instructor, and an intermediate class with Carolyn & Stefan.
Following the lessons, social dancing runs from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, featuring a dynamic music mix of Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia/Merengue curated by resident DJ Mambero and rotating guest DJs.
The venue boasts a smooth dance floor, spacious lounge areas, and a full bar and kitchen serving a variety of dishes and drinks. Attendees can enjoy free parking, board games, and a free-to-play pool table, making it a perfect Sunday afternoon outing.
