La Rumba IV Latin American Music & Dance Festival

The La Rumba IV Festival is a full-day celebration of Latin American music, dance, and culture held at James Street Tavern in Oxford.

Doors open at 12:00 PM on Saturday with a rich program of live bands, introductory dance classes, and DJ sets, creating an immersive and vibrant festival experience for all ages.

Throughout the day, attendees can enjoy multiple hours of live music featuring a variety of Latin and Caribbean sounds, alongside beginner-friendly dance lessons in merengue, bachata, and salsa.

Dance classes are interspersed with performances and social dancing, giving guests plenty of opportunities to move, connect, and enjoy the rhythms of Latin music.

Tickets are available in advance or on the door, with special pricing for children under 12 and half-price youth tickets for ages 12–18, and discounts available for Muevete and Oxford Salsa Society members.

The festival brings together community, music, and dance in a welcoming atmosphere, and is ideal for both newcomers and seasoned dancers looking for a lively social event.
