Latin Heat Tuesdays is a weekly dance night hosted by DJ J&M Dance Events at The New Local Restaurante y Bar in Kent, WA.
The evening begins with a free introductory class from 8:00 to 8:30 PM, where attendees can learn the basics of salsa, bachata, cumbia, and merengue. No dance partner or prior experience is required. Social dancing follows from 8:30 to 11:00 PM with music by DJ Juanchata and DJ Batras.
This is an all-ages event. Admission is $10, and complimentary entry is available for current group or private class students who have attended within the past two months. A taco special—four tacos for $10—is available on request.
The event supports a growing Latin dance community in South King County.
