Azucar Salsa Mondays
Overview:
Salsa lessons and dancing every Monday night at the Azucar Bar & Bistro in downtown San Jose. Beginner salsa lessons with Jesse JazzyJez Giovanni and guest instructors from 8:30-9:30pm followed by dancing until midnight to salsa, bachata, and merrengue music.

Our Review:
Held in the Azucar Latin Bistro in downtown San Jose, Azucar Salsa Mondays is a free salsa event which includes a free dance lesson and dancing until midnight. Azucar also has a full bar, featuring Azucar's famous (but pricey) mojitos.
The crowd at Azucar is usually pretty small, but if you're looking to go dancing on a Monday night, there are few places that are better to go dancing than Azucar's.

AZUCAR EXPANDED! Was there a few weeks ago, had a great time. They have two lounges, tons of dance space and 2 happy hours, one at 5p-7 & another 9-11. Mojitos are so refreshing after a dance lesson & the DJ plays some great music to dance to. It is definitely the place to go with you lady friends and hang out. Friendly, good people, vibe and popping on a Monday night.
Nice little venue with good drinks and a mix of local dancers leaning toward the 21-35 year range. The small crowd tends to have more beginner dancers but is a good mix. Not that spacious but definitely a fun place with a good lesson and good music.
