Nice vibe here, mix of organic dancers, latinos, learners, seasoned dancers.
The bands are great, drinks are strong, very classy venue to see and dance with great dancers. A bailar y gozar!
I LIKE THIS PLACE… a great location in downtown Redwood City with reasonable street parking. The club is moderate in size and impressive with it’s dance floor and stage. It’s a bit compact but I’ll take it as is. Dancers range from beginners to advanced and the atmosphere is quite friendly. The bar is small and stays very busy. Seating is reasonable as there is a 2nd floor that overlooks the stage and dance floor. I would give it 5 stars if the dance floor were larger. Overall… a very nice Salsa venue.
I used to go to Cocomo’s, then it closed. Club Fox Salsa Night has been a pretty good replacement. The DJ’s are usually different each week and the crowd is a good mix of beginners, intermediate and advanced salsa dancers. The upstairs has plenty of seating overlooking the dance floor and stage. The dance floor is medium sized but the dancers rotate out often, so there’s usually no problem with finding a spot to dance. The bar pours some good drinks and usually has a drink special going on. I’d recommend Salsa Night at Club Fox.
Nice, grass roots salsa.
No driving and a beautiful place to get your salsa groove on.
