Club Milano is the spot to be for salsa dancing on Friday nights in San Jose! Milano is one of the nicest salsa clubs in the Bay Area, and features a spacious dance floor, full bar, and comfortable seating.

Milano is one of the few spots in the South Bay to regularly feature live music, which makes it stand out from many other events. The venue also hosts regular dance performances, competitions, and other entertainment to mix things up. They also have a separate bachata room, which is nice.

The crowd at Milano is usually pretty decent, with a good mix of beginner and more advanced dancers. Parking can sometimes be tricky downtown, but you can usually find a spot within one or two blocks. The drinks are a little pricey here, so it might be smart to pre-drink ahead of time if you're on a budget.

Overall Club Milano is a great venue and a great event, and I recommend it to anyone wanting to go salsa dancing in South Bay!

One night at this event and I am already looking forward to going back!

Here are the pro’s:
1. HUGE dance space
2. Stage for live band
3. Classy environment
4. Plenty of sitting areas for taking a “break”
5. Full bar and AMAZING drinks!
6. Gigantic dance space

Con’s
1. Parking- it is downtown San Jose… so Agenda quality parking on a weekend
2. Floor got a little sticky at the end of the night… all the good dancing?
3. You cant rough it- its a nice classy place. Need to dress to impress!

This new venue looks very promising and could become one of the South Bay area places were people can have a great time dancing to salsa.

facilities are gorgeous, dance floor great with plenty of room to dance, glide and show your moves if you are an expert dancer. Music by itself can be a treat if you just want to go people watching and enjoy a few drinks. The musicians themselves provide a lot of entertainment while they dance to their music beats.
Cons: bathrooms get messy , salsa class announces one teacher and a different person shows up which is disappointing and frustrating. Should ban drinks from the dance floor as it is detrimental to the atmosphere and bad for the floors.

Club Milano is one of the coolest places to dance salsa or bachata!! The dance floor is huge and the atmosphere is very lively. It’s a fun place to dance, or even just to hang out with friends and talk in the lounging areas.

I’m gonna keep this simple since I agree with the other reviews. It took me an hour to drive to Club Milano from Berkeley, and an hour returning. Was the commute worth it? HELL YEAH. ;-)

I went to Club Milano a few weeks ago for the first time and it was really great! Bouncer and hostess were super chill to begin with. Nice dance floor with enough space to dance without getting stepped on and enough dancers with a variety of skill level choose from. Live band and DJ in the salsa room, DJ in the bachata room. Lots of seating if you need/want to rest. My only tiny complaint was that with such a long, crowded bar, two bar tenders weren’t really cutting it…definitely not enough of an annoyance to keep anyone from having fun though :)

Looking forward to going back!

Club Milano has become a force in the Bay Area Salsa scene because it is large and well appointed with great live bands, dance lessons, and plenty of space and seating! The main room is impressive with a long bar, seating, a huge dance floor and full stage. The back room is quite elegant too. Some sections are blocked off – I’d like to see more seating opened up when the club gets packed. The best part of Milano is that the the people running it, Max and Carlos, and sound tech Len all really put a lot of care into the events there! They have devised some novel nights such as Battle of the Bands and the dance lessons have rotated between several top teachers. They are always looking for something exciting to present at this venue. Parking is always hit or miss in downtown area but at least there are a few lots right near club – the one on the same side of street is a little cheaper. Best of all Milano supports LIVE BANDS and keeps the salsa music scene alive in our precious Bay Area!

club MILANO, it’s not just another club, it’s The Club.
On my own personal experience as a social dancer my amusement has risen as I witnessed the positive vibe that takes place there every Friday night. I have experienced great events, and I’m sure there will be plenty more to come on the near future. Believe me that your dancing experience at club Milano will be worth your while if dancing good salsa music is what you are looking for on The Bay Area..

We had a great time at Milano’s. This is truly the next best Salsa place in San Jose. The music is great with live bands and the floors are spacious and beautiful. This place is very classy and the people there are really nice. From the staff, to all the dancers. The bar is amazing and big. This place is very open space and has a great atmosphere. You don’t feel cramped at all and the ventilation is great too. Our friends really enjoyed Milano’s and will definitely be going back.

I’ve only been once Ina night where some guest DJs came from New York. I felt like I was in a scene from Saturday Night Fever! The serious dancers bring their shoes in a separate bag, fabulous to watch the older married couples go at it. Lots of different ages, local, organic native dancers, also about half ballroom style dancing with the stars types. 15$ is high priced for SJ and even the water was 5$. They should consider selling non- alcoholic drinks for 2-3$. I hope next time the salsa music is not just Cuban, but a variety of puertorican and Colombian as well as other styles. My friends are going back and some come from Pleasonton to dance with authentic Latino dancers. ¡ qué viva la salsa borigua!

This place was amazing! Great bar beautiful big dance floor. Last night they had live salsa bands and even salsa dance contests. They brought in a renowned bachata instructor from LA who was really good and a nice guy. After the social dancing started they was a mix of beginner dancers and a lot of really good salsa dancers. It was fun to watch and it was a good vibe. Definitely recommend this place. Very classy!

Great Huge wood floor. Two rooms. The music in the salsa room was good. I went when there was an awesome band, well worth the cover. A bottle of water was a little expensive at $5. There was a good mix of dancers, and most seemed friendly. It is one of the nicest salsa clubs ive been to in the bay area.

CLUB MILANOS has definitely proven to be the hottest salsa dance venue in the bay area. Every week the SABROSO team works hard to bring amazing events to salsa dancers of all levels. Not only does this venue feature a posh interior, there are plenty of fans, a huge dance floor and the salsa dance classes are fun! Very classy place, plus you can expect to be amazed with the entertainment and live salsa bands such as Boogaloo Assassins and Frankie Vazquez. Don’t miss out!

The place is nice to dance and listen to music. Yet I really don’t think it should be that expensive to go in I went once and didn’t go in because covet charge was $25 expensive. Second time I had to go in because it was my friend’s birthday and it was expensive I paid $20. It looks like it varies the price from $15 to $30 + expensive drinks and water. No worth spending so much when other places offer good music too for free or st most $5 or $10 with live music. But all well is just my opinion some people make too much money that price don’t matters, others just like to waist it and other people can enjoy salsa somewhere else for free or way cheaper! Club milano could have so much more fame if price to go in was at most $10.

Yet again another club that abuses the heating system and charges way to much for drinks. It is a great venue but the cheap owners need to turn the heat off and lower the price of their drinks. Seriously… 12-15 dollars for a drink… that can buy me a bottle.
