I’ve tried out this place three times in the past 12 months arriving around 10:30 pm. Each time, there was no music and absolutely no dancers, only a few people at the bar and billiard table who I assume were there for reasons unrelated to salsa dancing. It’s a wonderful venue — great layout and enough space for dancing and location… I’m puzzled, frankly flabbergasted as to why it has yet been a go-to place for Tuesday for SF salsa dancing community. It’s unfortunate. Perhaps not enough promotion??

This place has instruction too – although the calendar shows dancing only. The music is good, the floor in the front is wood, but relatively small. The floor in the back is large, but it is warped. The people are generally friendly. The area is very nice compared to every other salsa spot I’ve visited in the bay area, and parking was easy. Not many people go yet – maybe between 10 and 20 dancers, but it is almost always very friendly, and the quality of the dancing is good. I always have a great time – my only gripes are small wood floor in front, back floor warped.
The website for this club has been replaced by a bunch of Chinese characters, and the facebook event page wasn’t updated since 2016. Safe to say it’s not happening anymore?
