Just as all the reviews say, this event is very fun, lively, great live music and ambiance. I would come again for the atmosphere, music and the cool set up in the patio. However, would never come with the intention of enjoying social dancing if learning salsa is your thing. The floor is uneven and made of concrete and dangerous for turning and even just doing cross body leads. I brought jazz sneakers knowing ahead of time my salsa heels wouldn’t survive but they were not slippery enough against the concrete floor. I imagine very slippery dress shoes would be a better bet but I wouldn’t take my chances. I Felt like my knee caps and ankles were going to snap off a couple of times not being able to move properly due to the uneven and ridged floor. Also, it is very crowded so space was very limited which also adds another layer of unsafetiness. I left thinking this place could really be a hot spot for regular salsa dancers if they were able to invest in a wooden floor. Maybe one of those packable ones like the ones people use for weddings etc. Really cool spot, awesome live music BUT dance at your own risk.

Great ambiance, folks are so nice, Roberto is fantastic instructor… The bands are good. The floor can be uneven, as it is brick… Th covered patio is awesome. The atmosphere is very friendly, kind of like a house party. The dancers are very patient, nice mix of all ages and all cultures❤️. A bailar!

I’ve been here a few times on nights that a live band appeared. The place is tented and heated in the winter (it’s normally an outdoor patio area of a restaurant). The band is right in front of the dance area, so you can really feel the music. You’ll be dancing on a brick floor, but it’s pretty well evened out, and if you wear shoes that work on that, you’ll be fine. Handles a big crowd well, …even when full, … you’ll find a nook in the floor with sufficient room for a few spins. Me & my wife have always left drenched from dancing, and happily satisfied with the quality of the bands, and the place and it’s crowd of freindly and enthusiastic, and nicely diverse crowd. All combined, it’s a nice place that makes for a great evening for some dancing!

THIS IS A “FIVE” STAR SALSA NIGHT EVENT! UNLIKE ANY OTHER LIVE-SALSA EVENT YOU HAVE EVER HAD! Imagine dancing to Salsa and Bachata music under the stars or a full moon, on a big dance floor, filled with lots of happy and loving people, who are GREAT dancers! Imagine dancing to “LATIN HEAT,” the best live Salsa band in the Bay Area right now and to the best Salsa and Bachata DJ, “DJ LANCE!” This is a super-duper wonderful place to have a great Salsa experience, one that every Salsero and Salsera and Bachata dancer must have! I guarantee you will be hooked! This is the best place to spend the Spring and Summer time…outdoors! See you there and please tell your family and friends. This is a great way to celebrate life and any special event that you might have. I guarantee you that too.
