Salsa dancing every Sunday afternoon at St James Gate Irish Pub in Belmont. Indoor and outdoor seating, full bar & restaurant, and plenty of parking. DJ Antonio playing the hottest salsa, bachata, and merengue.
Grand Opening on Sunday June 22nd featuring live salsa music by Julio Bravo y su Orquesta Salsabor.

Mix felling about this place, my concern is, why a 50% raise on cover charge in less than six months….is a dive bar for crying out loud, is on a Sunday, not prime time like a Saturday night. The music is ok but always the same guys representing a different band. even club fox over a appreciation night, The point is, appreciate the crowd. thanks…

Love this place. Food is pretty good, Drinks are pretty good, slow, but good. Indoor and Outdoor Patio dancing. Varied level of dancer from beginner to experienced. This place is a lot of fun. Great place to go hang. There are places to sit and watch the band play if you do not want to dance. Or if you just want to have a drink and listen to live Salsa. Theres Live Salsa every Sunday rain or shine. wow, thats cool. At $12 that is a good price seeing other spots are higher. When they have 2 bands or special events, the price goes to $20. Things like 2 Live Bands, International artist or Brazilian Dancers, some time all on the same night. This spot is perfect when you want to get away from the Club Scene or have a birthday party and bring your Salsa and non Salsa Friends.

My friend and I really liked this place, varied levels of dancers, very nice folks. The food looked very tasty. Women and men were very friendly. The band was ok but the sound was not too good. The inside floor is the best spot to observe really good dancers. Out on the patio is pretty cold, but breezy and lots of room to dance. The drinks were very strong. This is not a place for lessons, but the dancers are very congenial , will show you some basics :-)
