Rodchata’s Salsa Mega Party
Overview:
A dance party hosted by Rodchata at Allegro Ballrom in Emeryville every 4th and 5th Saturday of the month. Salsa, bachata, kizomba, and cha cha cha lessons early in the evening followed by dancing to live Latin music (different bands every month). 3 rooms for dancing salsa & timba, kizomba, and bachata. Plenty of free parking, all ages welcome.

Favorite part: Really large dance floor!
Classes are OK – start from very basic and move on to more complex figures, all within one hour. Lot’s of beginners in the classes, and more experienced dancers come later at night.
There’s also food in the back if you get hungry. Not the tastiest food, but helps with the hunger after dancing for hours.
Can also crash the Ballroom Party going on in a different room, so that was fun!
