Salsa & Bachata Lessons Monterey
Overview:
Beginner salsa and bachata lessons taught every Tuesday night at Move Studios in Monterey by DJ Willi. Classes are beginner friendly, and no partner is necessary. Classes are $10 for a single lesson or $18 for both lessons. Dinner and drinks available at the restaurant. All ages welcome.

What an affordable and fun way to learn salsa! This is strictly a dance lesson, so it is less intimidating than the social dancing scene can be for newbies. DJ Willi is an expert at customizing his lessons to meet both the new and more experienced dancer’s needs :) I definitely recommend him for your Salsa lessons.

It was a blast. The instructor is charismatic and they take time to spend some individual time with each student. And I was pleasantly surprised by how many people showed up for the class; there were about 20 people there! It was a lot of fun. Can’t wait for the next class. :)

Great salsa and bachata lessons. He adjusts things so that both beginner and intermediate dancers get something valuable from each lesson.

Great class that’s affordable. He teaches at a great speed for everyone and is open to feedback. If you need a little extra help then tell him and he’ll repeat the move for you. If he notices the class is picking everything up well then he throws a new challenge our way. It’s a great class, I highly recommend attending if your interested.

I went alone feeling a bit nervous, but was welcomed with many smiles. Absolutely no partner needed because we rotate for both salsa and bachata. Willi breaks down the steps very well and reviews them more than once. He walks around checking for understanding and helps to correct mistakes when he sees them. His passion for dance is transparent and makes the class incredibly enjoyable :) There was a good crowd, about 20-25 people, I was impressed due to it being a Tuesday.
I highly recommend and will definitely keep attending!

I like the classes here. They are easy to follow and the teacher Willi makes them extra fun. He also has an awesome music selection. And the dance floor is wonderful!
Willi’s a great teacher and he makes his Tuesday night classes are a lot of fun. I highly recommend!
Great class, excellent instructor
I was really nervous to attend my first ever lesson, but there was honestly no reason to be! The teacher, Willi, is very relaxed and makes it fun. There were more people there than I expected, around 25 or so. No need for a partner, as we danced in a circle and switched partners regularly. Very comfortable environment and best price for a great lesson! Highly recommend and will be attending again!

Most professional and beautiful environment to learn and practice salsa dancing. The instructor and class environment is so friendly and such a great mixture of people. I have told at least 30 people already!
Fun class, good people! Don’t worry if you are a beginner, this will work for you. We’ve all been there. DJWilli is a good teacher and will make sure you get it.
