Overview:

The annual “Salsa in the Square” event, featuring free live music and dancing on Union Square in San Francisco. The event is held every 3rd Wednesday of the month during the summer months from 6pm-8pm. Here is the schedule for 2014:

Outdoor dancing to live salsa music in the lovely Union Square in San Francisco-- what's not to like! This is a treat of an event to attend during the summer months, and this year features some top salsa bands including Avance, Vission Latina, and Jesus Diaz y su QBA.

My only complaint is that the event is so early, which makes it difficult to make it for the whole event if you're commuting from outside SF.
