Upcoming Auditions This Weekend

Is performing on a salsa team one of your New Years Resolutions? Is so, you better get ready, because there are a bunch of auditions coming up this weekend!

First up is the audition for Salsamania Dance Company coming up this Saturday, January 11th at the Just Dance Studio in Oakland. Salsamania is the largest salsa team in the Bay Area and 2-time winners of the World Latin Dance Cup. They will be auditioning for members for their various teams including their On1 team, On2 team, ladies team, over 40 team, and training teams.

Also on Saturday is the audition for Alma SF in San Jose. Alma SF is a special collaboration between the directors of Montuno Dance Company and the world renown Alma Latina Dance Company from Mexico. Through Alma SF you have the opportunity of learning choreography from Sergio & Gaby of Alma Latina, right here in the Bay Area. They will be auditioning for two teams on Saturday night; a coed bachata team and a ladies styling team On2.

Finally, this Sunday there will be auditions for the Couture Dance Alliance. Directed by 2-time World Champion, Luis Aguilar, CDA is one of the top salsa teams in San Francisco, and they also have a team based in the South Bay as well. Auditions will be held from 3-6pm in the DSG Dance Studio in San Francisco.
