US Salsa Open Championships Coming In 2 Weeks

The US Salsa Open Championships are coming in just 2 weeks, starting Friday, July 12th at the Oakland Marriott Hotel in downtown Oakland.

The US Salsa Open is largest salsa competition in the Bay Area, and one of the largest in the US, featuring over 100 different divisions to compete in, ranging from solo footwork to couple and team performances. There is wide range of dance levels for the competition, from Novice all the way to Professional, so dancers of any level can participate and face competitors of the same caliber.

The competition takes place over 3 days, starting on Friday and continuing to Sunday. The event typically attracts hundreds of competitors from the Bay Area and beyond, so this is a great event to attend even if you just want to spectate. The event will also feature dancing until 4am every night, so it’s a great social event as well.
