About this event
Cubaila is a weekly Cuban salsa lesson and social held every Wednesday at ComaSocial in Davis.
The evening begins with time to arrive, socialize, and enjoy the music before a beginner-friendly Cuban salsa, or casino, lesson taught by Woodland Cuban Dance. The class runs from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM and is designed to be approachable for newer dancers while still offering useful practice for those with experience.
After the lesson, the floor opens for social dancing, with salsa and timba providing the soundtrack throughout the evening. The full event runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
The lesson costs $10, or $5 with a current UC Davis or Sacramento State student ID.
Food is available from the kitchen, along with fresh coconut drinks, making Cubaila a relaxed midweek option for learning, dancing, and spending time with the local Cuban salsa community.
Important: Event times are subject to change. Always double-check with the event organizer before making plans.
