Baile de Fuego Lesson and Social at UC Davis

About this event

Baile de Fuego Latin Dance Club hosts a free evening of Cuban salsa instruction and social dancing at Hoagland Hall in Davis on Sunday, November 15, 2026.

The event begins at 6:00 PM with a beginner-friendly casino and rueda de casino lesson taught by Woodland Cuban Dance. The class is designed to give newer dancers an accessible introduction to Cuban salsa while also offering a fun way to practice group movement and partnerwork.

From 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, the floor opens for social dancing, giving participants a chance to practice what they learned and connect with other dancers.

The event is free and open to the public, making it an easy option for both first-time dancers and those already familiar with casino.

Classes and dancing take place in Room 113 of Hoagland Hall.

Visitor parking is available nearby in Lot 25.
