Dance Thursdays at Bistro 880 is a second and fourth Thursday Latin dance lesson and social from 7 PM to 10 PM at Bistro 880, an upscale hotel restaurant and bar inside DoubleTree by Hilton Newark-Fremont.
The evening starts with a beginning salsa lesson from 7 PM to 8 PM, followed by a beginning-plus bachata lesson from 8 PM to 9 PM and a Latin social from 9 PM to 10 PM. No partner is necessary, and the social includes bachata, salsa, and cumbia.
Lesson admission is $15 early bird or $20 general admission, and the social is free. One ticket covers either lesson or both lessons; space is limited and refunds are not offered. Bistro 880 serves California comfort food, fusion cuisine, and cocktails, and the lounge and dance floor are 21+.
Wheelchair access is listed for Bistro 880. The venue is a 6-minute walk from the Stevenson Blvd & Cedar Blvd bus stop, and DoubleTree by Hilton Newark-Fremont offers a complimentary San Jose airport shuttle.
