Thanks! We’ll review ASAP.
About this event
Empire Sensual Movement brings salsa and bachata to the New York Marriott Marquis in Times Square from July 29 to August 2, 2027.
The congress combines daytime workshops with stage performances and late-night social dancing. The 2027 salsa lineup includes Adolfo Indacochea & Tania Cannarsa, Fernando Sosa & Tatiana Bonaguro, Tropical Gem, Iroko Dance Company, and Latin Soul Dancer.
Bachata guests include Melvin & Gatica, Cristian & Gabriela, Miguel & Sunsiree, Ros & Klau, and Cornel & Rithika. Workshops, shows, and socials bring both dance scenes together throughout the event.
Optional pre-festival training runs from July 26 to 29, with separate salsa training, Mambo Experience, and Afro Fusion programs.
The main festival begins Thursday night and continues through early Monday morning, with the optional training days extending the program for dancers who want additional instruction before the congress.
Important: Event times are subject to change. Always double-check with the event organizer before making plans.
