Salsa Groove Marlborough, a community-driven non-profit based in Blenheim, offers a weekly beginner salsa course. The classes are held at the Harlequins Rugby Clubrooms in Lansdowne Park and welcome all ages and skill levels, with no partner or prior experience required.
The 10-week course focuses on foundational partner-work and footwork, designed to build confidence, rhythm, and social connection. Classes run every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with group sizes often reaching 20–30 dancers. Salsa Groove reinvests all proceeds into supporting teacher training and future events, reflecting its community-first philosophy.
