University of Glasgow Salsa & Bachata Society Weekly Classes
Salsa Lesson
Every Sun & Wed
About this event
The University of Glasgow Salsa & Bachata Society runs weekly salsa and bachata dance classes open to both students and non-students, creating an inclusive and social environment to learn Latin dance.
Bachata classes take place every Sunday at the Glasgow University Union, starting with improver-level sessions followed by beginner classes and a dedicated social dancing period.
Salsa classes are held every Wednesday in the St Andrew’s Building Gym, with improver and beginner sessions leading into social dancing to practise and connect with others.
All classes are designed to be welcoming and accessible, with no partner required and regular partner rotation to encourage social interaction.
The society places strong emphasis on community, fun, and learning, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as dancers looking to progress.
Class schedules may change during the academic year, so participants are encouraged to follow the society’s social media channels for the latest updates and social event announcements.
Important: Event times are subject to change. Always double-check with the event organizer before making plans.
