University of Glasgow Salsa & Bachata Society Weekly Classes

The University of Glasgow Salsa & Bachata Society runs weekly salsa and bachata dance classes open to both students and non-students, creating an inclusive and social environment to learn Latin dance.

Bachata classes take place every Monday at the Glasgow University Union. Improvers meet from 6:00 to 6:45 PM, beginners from 6:45 to 7:30 PM, and social dancing runs from 7:30 to 8:00 PM.

Salsa classes are held every Wednesday in the St Andrew’s Building Gym. Improvers meet from 7:00 to 7:45 PM, beginners from 7:45 to 8:30 PM, and social dancing runs from 8:30 to 9:00 PM.

All classes are designed to be welcoming and accessible, with no partner required and regular partner rotation to encourage social interaction.

The society places strong emphasis on community, fun, and learning, making it suitable for complete beginners as well as dancers looking to progress.
