BailaAfrika Second Sundays is an Afro Latin sundowner dance social held on the second Sunday of the month, running from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Hosted by Tash BailaAfrika, the afternoon is set up for easygoing social dancing and a relaxed end-of-weekend catch-up with the community. With a “sundowner” feel, it’s a welcoming option for anyone who wants to come dance, connect, and keep the vibes light.
It takes place at Beer Park in Sandown, Sandton, and entry is free—so it’s an easy plan for a spontaneous Sunday outing. Arriving close to 4:00 PM gives dancers the full afternoon to settle in, enjoy the space, and stay for as long as they like until 8:00 PM.
