About this event
Nieves Latin Dance Studio offers salsa classes throughout the week in New York, with options ranging from Salsa 101 through Salsa 204 for beginner and intermediate dancers.
Classes are taught by Wil, Rosario and Luis, with a structured progression designed to help students build their timing, technique, partner work and confidence. Salsa 101 welcomes complete beginners, and no partner or previous dance experience is required.
New students can attend their first Salsa 101 class for free. Regular drop-in classes cost $25, while monthly memberships are available for $75 for one class per week or $120 for unlimited classes.
A Salsa and Bachata practice social takes place on Fridays from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, giving students a relaxed setting to practice what they have learned. Admission to the practice social is free for members and $25 for guests.
The studio is located near the 28th Street station on the 1 train. Paid parking garages are also available in the surrounding area.
