Cucala Salsa Classes in Astoria

Cucala offers weekly beginner New York-style Salsa On2 classes at Cathy’s Dance Studio in Astoria, with instruction in solo footwork and partnerwork.

Classes take place every Saturday from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, beginning with a one-hour shines and solo footwork class at 4:00 PM. A one-hour partnerwork class follows at 5:00 PM, giving students the opportunity to practice salsa with a partner.

No previous dance experience or partner is required, making the classes accessible to complete beginners. Partners rotate during lessons, allowing students to practice with different dancers.

Each one-hour class costs $24, with a free trial available. A five-class pass costs $100, while a ten-class pass is $180.

Classes take place at Cathy’s Dance Studio in Astoria, Queens. Public transportation options include the Broadway subway station and the Q104 bus to Crescent Street and Broadway.
