Bachata Zouk Royals Congress Fifth Edition

Bachata Zouk Royals Congress is a Bachata and Brazilian Zouk festival held December 11 to 13, 2026, at Ballhaus Freiburg in Freiburg im Breisgau. The fifth edition begins Friday at 6:00 PM and has a published closing time of 11:59 PM on Sunday. Salsa is not part of the event’s music or workshop program.

More than 30 hours of Bachata and Brazilian Zouk workshops are scheduled, with optional masterclasses sold separately. Music comes from DJ Desea; DJ Tiago; DJ Vireack; DJ Natali; DJ Roberto; DJ Carlos. Three themed parties take place across two floors, and the Royal Cup Bachata and Brazilian Zouk Jack & Jill is scheduled for Saturday, December 12.

The Party Pass is €75, and the Fullpass Follower Summer Sale tier is €145. Competition registration and masterclasses cost extra, while the Full Pass covers workshops and socials.

Ballhaus Freiburg has wooden dance floors, a bar, and a lounge, with the main floor, workshop rooms, and facilities reachable without stairs by elevator or ramp. Paid parking garages are about 240 meters away, and tram line 1 stops directly outside throughout the weekend.

Most old-town hotels and guesthouses are within a 10 to 15-minute walk. Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred through go&dance.
