Beginner Salsa Classes with LA Salsa and Bachata Dance Academy

Beginner Salsa Classes (on1) brings a structured, beginner-friendly Salsa 1+ with Styling program to Santa Monica with LA Salsa and Bachata Dance Academy.

Running Sundays from August 23, 2026 through September 13, 2026, the class meets from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and is designed to help students build real salsa fundamentals—technique, body movement, and styling—right from day one. Along the way, students work on smooth partner transitions and energetic shine sequences (solo footwork) to build confidence and stamina for social dancing. The program is welcoming for first-timers, and it also supports dancers with experience who want to refine footwork, styling, and musical connection.

No partner is needed; students rotate partners during class. For comfort and safety, students are encouraged to wear athletic wear or other comfortable clothing, plus shoes that slide easily, and to bring water. Street parking is available out front, and it is free after 6:00 PM.

The first class is free for first-timers.
