Summer Noche Cubana

Summer Noche Cubana brings a Cuban-style salsa night to Hotel Alameda in Chelsea on Saturday, August 22, 2026, hosted by Chris Rogicki and the Fuákata crew.

Doors open at 8:00 PM with a Cuban dance lesson, and the party kicks off at 8:30 PM, running until midnight. The music leans into timba and the best of Cuban sounds, creating an easygoing social where people can settle in, dance a lot, and meet the community. Longtime casineros, son lovers, timba fans, and complete beginners are all welcome.

It’s a summer-colors-only dress code night, with tropical prints, linens, florals, and bright colors encouraged. Cover is offered on a tiered basis: $15 early bird, $20 during the week of the event, and $25 on August 22. Guests can also plan to grab dinner and drinks on site while they dance.
