Indian Summer Night at Het Bassin

Indian Summer Night closes the summer with an evening full of Latin vibes on Friday 18 September 2026, at the special site of the former outdoor swimming pool of Spiere. Het Bassin will be transformed that evening into a dance floor where friends, family and new faces can easily connect.

The evening starts with a salsa initiation workshop at 19.00, given by Daniel Howett & Anja Vandenbroucke. Everyone can join, with or without a dance partner, and participation is completely free.

At 20.30, live band Ritmo Latino takes over with energetic Latin American music that invites you to keep dancing. From 22.00, the DJs provide a mix of salsa, bachata and kizomba, so the atmosphere continues until late.

In between, you can enjoy Mexican snacks, cocktails and mocktails. Admission is free and registration is not required, making it an accessible evening for both curious beginners and seasoned Latin lovers.
