About this event

Salsachata returns on Saturday, July 4, 2026 with a Tropical Theme night at ETOWN SALSA Studios in Edmonton.

Doors open at 8:00 pm, followed by a beginner/intermediate Salsa and Bachata class at 8:30 pm. After the lesson, the night shifts into social dancing from 9:30 pm to 12:30 am.

Guests are invited to dress for the tropical theme and settle in for a full evening of Latin music and dancing. The event is designed to feel welcoming for absolute beginners and also fun for current students and experienced community dancers. It’s also pitched as a great date night and a strong option for singles who want a friendly place to practice.

Two rooms may be available, with one room for Salsa and the other for Bachata if there are enough dancers; otherwise, the music will be shared in one room. Admission is $15 plus tax.
