Chaleur Tropicale is a vibrant weekly Latin dance social held every Monday night in the heart of Montreal. Hosted at El Lounge on Saint-Denis Street, this event brings together dancers of all levels for an evening filled with energy and rhythm.
The night kicks off at 7:30 PM with a dance class, offering participants the opportunity to learn and refine their moves. Following the class, from 8:30 PM onwards, the floor opens up for social dancing, where attendees can immerse themselves in the captivating beats of salsa, bachata, konpa, and kizomba.
With a rotating lineup of talented DJs and occasional guest instructors, each week offers a unique experience that keeps dancers coming back for more. The atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive, making it an ideal spot for both newcomers and seasoned dancers to connect and enjoy the music.
Admission is $20 for the class and social, or $15 for the social only, payable in cash at the door. Whether you’re looking to learn new steps, meet fellow dance enthusiasts, or simply enjoy a night out, Chaleur Tropicale promises an unforgettable evening of dance and community.
