Carnaval del Sol returns to Vancouver from July 11 to 13, 2025, transforming Jonathan Rogers Park into a vibrant celebration of Latin American culture. As the largest Latin festival in the Pacific Northwest, the event features over 280 live performers, multiple themed plazas, and a rich array of food vendors.
Highlights include:
– **Plaza del Sol**: Main stage with performances by artists such as Boogát, Meni Axe Band, Lussilia, and Caleb Hart.
– **Sports Plaza**: A 360-degree soccer experience with street-style tournaments and fan zones.
– **She Latina Plaza**: Showcasing women entrepreneurs and creatives.
– **Family & Kids Plazas**: Activities including folk dance, music, and educational workshops.
– **Food & Beer Plazas**: Over 20 vendors offering diverse Latin American cuisines and beverages.
Festival hours are 11:00 AM to 10:30 PM on Saturday and 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Sunday. General admission is $12 per day, with VIP passes available for $70. Children under 11 and seniors over 65 enter free
