911 Salsa Tuesdays is one of Vancouver’s longest-running and most beloved Latin dance nights, hosted weekly at Mangos Kitchen Bar. For nearly two decades, this event has been a cornerstone of the city’s salsa scene, drawing over 100 dancers each week.
The evening begins at 8:30 PM with complimentary salsa classes led by instructor Diego, catering to both beginner and intermediate levels. Following the lessons, from 9:30 PM to 1:00 AM, the dance floor comes alive with a vibrant mix of salsa, bachata, and merengue, expertly curated by DJ Cachete.
The music format for the night typically includes 45% salsa, 45% bachata, and 10% merengue, ensuring a dynamic and engaging experience for all attendees. The atmosphere is welcoming and energetic, making it an ideal spot for both seasoned dancers and newcomers to enjoy the rhythms of Latin music.
