Festival Mundial de Salsa 2026

Festival Mundial de Salsa is a city-run Salsa competition at Coliseo del Pueblo in Cali. The 2026 event runs September 24 to 27, and the four-day program begins Thursday at 10:00 AM with competitive Salsa dancing and music.

The competition welcomes local, regional, national, and international entrants. Registration includes both dancer and musical ensemble categories, creating separate competitive paths for movement and music. The dance program includes Salsa divisions with Cali-style competitive categories. International entrants follow the same festival structure as the local, regional, and national competitors.

The Secretaría de Cultura de Santiago de Cali organizes the event as Cali’s World Salsa Festival competition. Coliseo del Pueblo hosts the competition throughout the four-day window. By bringing dance and musical ensemble categories together, the festival presents two parts of Cali’s competitive Salsa tradition within one city-run program.
