Somoloco Cali Salsa Immersion

Cali Salsa Immersion is a 1–4 week salsa training and cultural immersion experience in Cali, Colombia, hosted by Somoloco for visiting dancers who want to learn “where salsa lives.” For the group immersion running February 21–28, 2027, the week is built around personalized training with local instructors and a small international community. Each week includes 15 hours of private lessons in one chosen style (Salsa On-1, On-2, Colombian, or Cuban), plus 3 hours of group classes with fellow participants. Alongside the dance training, Somoloco’s “Root Code” session adds musicality and history with live percussion.

The experience also weaves in curated cultural activities, including a welcome dinner, lunches with teachers, a guided visit to Museo de la Salsa, and a night at El Mulato Cabaret. Two nights of social dancing are included each week, with instructors joining in at Cali salsa clubs. Accommodation is described as a comfortable hotel with breakfast included, a swimming pool, and a location just blocks from Cali’s Granada district, with amenities like high-speed WiFi, AC, and a 24/7 front desk and security. Airport pickup and drop-off, transportation for programmed activities, and concierge-style support are included as part of the immersion setup.

Private immersions are also offered year-round for guests who want to book custom dates, with an optional add-on fee listed for choosing dates for a one-week solo or couple immersion.
