La Rumba Progressive Bachata Classes

La Rumba’s progressive Bachata series meets weekly at 8:00 PM in Denver, with beginner classes on Mondays and intermediate classes on Tuesdays.

Senora and Jig teach the monthly Dominican-style curriculum together. Monday Bachata 1 requires no experience, while Tuesday Bachata 2 requires basic footwork and partnering. Drop-ins are welcome, participants may attend solo, and partners are recommended but not required.

Classes are $15 each. A ten-class punch card is $100 for three months, and unlimited Monday through Wednesday classes cost $150 for three months. Cash and credit are accepted, with no preregistration required.

The nightclub is closed during the Monday through Wednesday class blocks, so bar and food service are not included. Free street parking and the lot at 9th Avenue and Broadway are available after 6:00 PM, but the lot can fill quickly.
