About this event

Zagreb Advent Bachata Congress 2026 is a winter-season bachata congress held in the festive city of Zagreb, Croatia, bringing together international bachateros for workshops, night parties and social dances in a Christmas-inspired setting.

The event features a robust program of workshops with top international bachata artists, multiple social dance parties, Jack & Jill competitions and daily socials.

Held during the magical Advent period, the congress offers both daytime workshops and evening parties with international DJs and community energy.

The main congress takes place at Hotel Diplomat from December 11 to the early hours of December 14. The program also includes an open-air party at Park Zrinjevac on Sunday. The separate Thursday pre-party is not included in festival passes.

Participants can also explore Zagreb’s famous Advent Christmas markets and seasonal events alongside the dance program for a unique European winter dance experience.
