Feeling the Competition Weekend brings two days of bachata workshops, competitions, and social dancing to Kvartershuset Sydhavnen in Copenhagen, Denmark, on December 5-6, 2026.

The weekend features six hours of workshops, two social parties, and separate competitions on Saturday and Sunday, combining dance training with opportunities to compete and enjoy social dancing.

Saturday introduces the Danish Bachata Amateur League, a social dance competition without fixed partners. The competition is open to dancers who do not teach regular classes or international workshops and have never won an award in a professional bachata competition.

Sunday features the Solo Battle, welcoming both amateur and professional dancers. Participants improvise to tracks selected by the DJ rather than performing prepared choreography.

Full Passes cost €110 per leader or follower, or €200 per couple, and include six workshops and both social parties. Entry to the Amateur League or Solo Battle costs an additional €15 per competition.

The event takes place at Kvartershuset Sydhavnen in Copenhagen. Public transportation options include Mozarts Plads metro station and bus routes 8A, 7A, 19, and 23.
