About this event

Ron y Son Fest is a two-day outdoor festival held September 5 and 6, 2026, from 4:00 PM to midnight at Zona Colonial Plaza España in Santo Domingo’s historic Colonial Zone.

The program brings together Dominican rum tastings, cocktail masterclasses, and live son, salsa, bolero, and merengue típico. Tastings feature Brugal, Barceló, and Bermúdez, and a food zone will showcase Dominican chefs. The music, tastings, masterclasses, and food will run across both festival days.

Admission is DOP 2000, and the event is for adults age 18 and older. For drivers, nearby Parqueo La Atarazana is open 24 hours. The afternoon-to-midnight schedule allows attendees to move between the live music, rum program, cocktail sessions, and food zone in the same outdoor setting.
