2 step Salsa and Latin Dance Classes at Châtelard

About this event

2 step holds weekly Thursday dance classes at Gymnase de l’école du Châtelard in Thonon-les-Bains during the teaching season. The evening runs from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with three sessions:

• 6:30-7:30 PM: Rock Latino for ages 10 and over.
• 7:30-8:30 PM: Solo Groove for adults.
• 8:30-9:30 PM: intermediate/advanced salsa for adults.

Rock Latino combines rock with salsa, bachata and cha-cha-cha. The youth class pauses during school holidays. Solo Groove includes salsa, bachata and cha-cha, along with reggaeton, Afro-Cuban and swing movements.

The teaching team includes Nelly Monteiro for salsa, bachata, Solo Groove and Rock Latino, and Jorge Herrold for salsa.

Annual membership is €20 per person, and the first class is a trial. Class prices are:

• One weekly one-hour class with Nelly: €90 per trimester or €235 per year.
• Two weekly one-hour classes with Nelly: €145 per trimester or €385 per year.
