Idaho DanceSport Salsa and Bachata Classes

About this event

Idaho DanceSport offers weekly salsa and bachata group classes at its studio in Boise, with options ranging from complete beginner lessons to intermediate training and specialized styling classes.

Sunday evenings begin with Beginner Salsa at 5:00 PM, introducing the fundamentals with no previous dance experience required. Bachata Fusion follows at 5:45 PM, covering Sensual and Dominican Bachata footwork and social partnering, also with no experience required.

At 6:30 PM, Intermediate Salsa focuses on lead and follow techniques and intermediate routines for dancers with beginner-to-intermediate experience.

Thursday evenings feature a Ladies Salsa and Bachata class at 7:00 PM, designed for dancers with some beginner experience. The class develops conditioning, styling, and technique through choreography.

Drop-in group lessons cost $20. A six-week package is $75, while a twelve-week package is $150. With punch-card packages, a week is counted only when a student attends, allowing flexibility between sessions.

Classes take place at Idaho DanceSport in Boise. Students should check the studio’s current official schedule for class details before attending.
